Glittery winter trees were definitely going to be a huge part of OBG’s Winter ONEderland, but the sticker shock of buying them already made inspired me to get crafty. These are so simple to make!
Here’s What You Need:
- Tree Cones (available in styrofoam or cardboard at most craft stores)
- Ribbon, beads, paint, whatever floats your boat!
- Hot glue gun
Here’s What You Do:
Paint the cones and/or use a hot glue gun to attach the ribbon. Something to note, make sure whatever ribbon you’re applying won’t melt when it touches hot glue (learned that the hard way!). Also, I was really surprised at how quickly I went through yards of ribbon, so make sure to grab a ton when it’s on sale! I would say the tall cones took about 4 yards of ribbon and 2 yards for the smallest cones.
Voila! Do you have any other easy DIY winter craft methods? I’d love to hear from you!
